No-Bake Protein Peanut Butter Bars

Published on 8 July 2026 at 09:41

If protein balls feel like too much rolling, these bars are the shortcut — mix, press into a pan, chill, and slice. Same great flavor, way less effort.

Why It Works

Powdered peanut butter gives you the full peanut flavor with a fraction of the fat of regular peanut butter, so these bars deliver more taste per calorie — while the oats and protein powder keep them satisfying enough to actually count as a real snack, not just a treat.

Ingredients (makes 8 bars)

150g rolled oats

40g protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)

60g powdered peanut butter

100ml water

4 tbsp honey or maple syrup

60ml milk (dairy or plant-based)

2 tbsp dark chocolate, melted

Instructions

1. Whisk the powdered peanut butter with the water until it forms a smooth, thick paste.

2. Add the oats and protein powder, and mix well.

3. Stir in the honey and milk until the mixture is thick and holds together when pressed.

4. Press firmly into a lined small pan or container in an even layer.

5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top.

6. Chill for about an hour until firm, then slice into 8 bars.

FAQ

Can I skip the chocolate drizzle?

Yes — the bars taste great without it if you want a lower-sugar version.

How long do they keep?

Up to a week in the fridge, or up to 2 months in the freezer — perfect for batch-prepping.

Can I use a different protein powder flavor?

Chocolate, cookies and cream, or plain vanilla all work well here.
